The Role

The Manager, Partnership Development will report to the Director, Partnerships and play a key role in driving local and regional sponsorship revenue across FlexWork Sports' national portfolio of youth sports camps and athlete-led experiences. This role focuses on building the next generation of partnerships — supporting the broader sales team through high-volume prospecting, relationship development, and executing local and regional deals.

The Manager, Partnership Development will identify and engage brands at the market level, translating the national strategy into meaningful local impact for partners.

The ideal candidate is hungry, organized, and eager to grow in sponsorship sales. They bring early experience in sales or partnerships, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn how to build and close deals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Team Structure

FlexWork Sports operates with a team-first approach to revenue generation. This role will work closely with the SVP & Director of Partnerships and the broader sales team to support national efforts while owning local and regional pipeline development.

Essential Functions

  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of local and regional sponsorship opportunities across key markets
  • Conduct proactive outreach to brands, agencies, and local businesses through email, phone, and in-person efforts
  • Support the development and execution of partnership proposals, presentations, and sales materials
  • Account management including sharing of CRMs, sponsor photos, pre- & post-camp emails, and event changes/swaps
  • Assist in closing small to mid-level partnerships (primarily local and regional deals)
  • Collaborate with senior sales team members on larger national opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity tracking within CRM systems
  • Help identify category trends and new prospecting opportunities across markets
  • Support on-site execution and partner activation as needed
  • Contribute to a positive, high-energy team culture

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or a related field (sports experience is a plus, but not required)
  • Strong interest in sponsorship sales, sports marketing, and brand partnerships
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and prospecting
  • Self-starter with a competitive, team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Willingness to travel for events and client meetings
